Shielded Subracks are used for electromagnetic shielding (EMC) of electronic devices.

EMC is the compatibility of electronic devices. International regulations concerning high frequency emission, and potential electromagnetic interference require the use of shielded (EMC) devices.

The RFI-shielded subrack has been specially engineered for shielded requirements by following means:

1. Top and bottom cover plates have a defined contact to the subrack profiles by inserted contact springs.

2. The wiring field is RFI-protected with a conductive rear hood.

3. Specially for the RFI-subrack a new generation of frontplates with contact springs has been developed.

The RFI Subrack is available in 42 and 84 hp in 3u and 6u, and depths of 160, 220, and 280 mm.
